Marisol question... What should I do??

I bought Marisol recently and I haven't taken her out of her box. I am very attached to my older girls who I have had for years, but I bought Marisol thinking that I might wait and sell her later, but I didn't want to miss out and not be able to buy her.

So here is my question for those of you who have sold dolls on ebay. Do you think that removing her from her box and opening her accessories would change her value a lot? I would keep her box and not "play" with her or brush her hair, but just get a good look. Thanks so much for your advice.

I've noticed with Kailey that the ones that were never removed from the box are going for quite a bit more... I personally have not removed my Kailey or Marisol but am so tempted at times to do so.... I even thought about buying an extra Marisol just incase my temptation overcomes my willpower! [img]smile.gif[/img] I also think though that keeping the dolls in the boxes, how can you really enjoy them? Isnt that the whole point?

ooh, I am thinking about buying two marisols too! I figure that I could always end up selling one for a lot and one for a little less. . . [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

on the other hand, that is a lot of money . . .2 dolls . . .

I would leave her in the box for maximum value if you plan on reselling.

I guess it depends on what you want to do... having them sit in the boxes is kinda boring in a way.... I have had my Kailey in the box since she first came out! I am kind of kicking myself that I didnt buy 2 of her because she is so cute and I would love to display her, but then again she didnt have that many different outfits like Marisol does, she would be a lot more fun to display.... so I decided on getting 2 marisol dolls.... she is a beautiful doll anyways and that way I can display my own and keep the other in the box as kind of a collectors item..... it does get spendy though having to do it that way, but I think it would pay off in the long run... but they obviously are more valuable in the box and you could get a lot more for her in the future if you keep her in there!
